Fun, Treats and Play This October Half-Term

There’s lots to do with kids in Wimbledon this autumn half-term, including activities for Halloween, discounts on performances, free film screenings and family-friendly dining.

Halloween-Themed Activities

Too cute to spook? This Halloween you get more treats, without any spooky tricks in Wimbledon. The Gymboween party is an hour of fun with hallowed-themed activities and a prize for the best-dressed child. Little ones, up to the age of 18 months, can join Friday 28th October at 11:45am and children 18 months to 5 years, on Monday 31st October at 1:30pm.

Get creative with Art-K Wimbledon this half-term, and try a holiday workshop exploring sensory projects that work with paper sculpture, clay, design, mixed media, watercolour and acrylics.

Stop by our Local Market on The Piazza 29th and 30th of October, 11 am-6 pm for a FREE mosaic bat decorating activity. All ages welcome.

 

Family Feasting and Fiestas

Feed the family for less at Bill’s Wimbledon. Up to two kids eat free all day Monday – Friday when an adult orders a main dish. Valid from 24th – 28th October. Celebrate Halloween with special Spooky Pancakes, fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with Dulche de leche, banana, chocolate, and cream. Halloween weekend only, 29th – 31st October. Don’t miss out!

Join Wahaca from 19th October – 6th November to experience Mexican life and culture as they celebrate Day of the Dead. The restaurant will be decorated with colourful hand-cut papel picados, the traditional bunting-style decorations festooned in streets across Mexico around the Day of the Dead.

 

Special Screenings and Performances 

Create fond memories with entertaining performances at New Wimbledon Theatre. Join children on an adventure in their town as strange events happen in the Demon Dentist. Peppa Pig fans are in for a treat with a live show packed full of songs, games, and laughter.

Burn off energy with fun activities at Wimbledon Leisure Centre. From family swimming sessions to learn to swim short courses, and junior gym, there’s something new for young people to do every day.

All Hallow’s Eve in Wimbledon

Wimbledon has no tricks, just treats for you this Halloween. So, get in, we’re going haunting.

 

Viewer beware, you’re in for a scare. Wimbledon Odeon will be hosting a 24-Hour Horror Movie Marathon, from 6pm Friday October 28th to 6pm Saturday 29th. Experience the ultimate cinematic horror with thirteen horror classics back-to-back. Expect horror movie trivia, awesome prize giveaways, drinking games, and classic horror trailer shows.

 

 

 

Join The Old Fizzle for a wholesome Halloween with a twist, Pumpkins & Prosecco. Sip on bubbly and carve your own personal pumpkin at brunch on 29th October. Think you have the best pumpkin in the patch? Bring your carved pumpkin to Tequila Mockingbird to enter a Boos or Booze competition for a chance to win a bottle of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila on the 28th and 29th of October.
