Icon to cycle from Paris to Wimbledon on July 10th
Over 40 cyclists will be racing back from Paris to be the first across the line at Southpark Gardens, Wimbledon on Sunday July 10th and Icon Solutions, an International IT consultancy firm have a team participating this year.
Guts in Motion (GIM) is a cycling event between Paris and London over three days between Friday 8 July to Sunday 10 July 2016 in aid of the charity supporting Crohns & Colitis in Childhood. In its 5th year, the organisers -Guts In Motion raise on average of £100,000pa. The ride covers approximately 180 miles through French and English countryside, starting at ParcMonceau in central Paris and ending in Southpark Gardens, Wimbledon. The riders are expected to be arriving at Southpark Gardens around 4pm on the Sunday.
Guts in Motion organiser, Andrew Goodman, said: ” We have a great race on a fantastic route. I am confident this year’s event will be even bigger and better, raising thousands for a good cause. Our riders come from all over the South East, Southpark Gardens is a great place for the race to end and for the riders to relax with their friends and families and celebrate their achievement.
Guts in Motion was formed to raise funds for research into and to drive awareness around Crohn’s Disease and Colitis in Childhood. Since starting the GIM cycling event in 2010, our riders have raised over £425,000 for research into Crohn’s and Colitis disease. Due to the generous support of our sponsoring companies, we have to date been able to pass on the full amount of any monies raised as they have covered
