New Options for Takeaway and Delivery in Wimbledon

The start of a new year signals good intentions on the eating front. Whether it’s to eat more healthily or give yourself a break from cooking, there’s no shortage of options. Eateries in Wimbledon need your support and we could all use a menu refresh – here’s a ‘taster’!

Finish-At-Home Meals

With the rise of restaurants offering ‘finish-at-home’ meals, having a homecooked meal with little prep or clean-up has become increasingly accessible, putting a new spin on takeaway and delivery.

The Old Frizzle has introduced two menu favourites, Roast and Raclette boxes – perfect for sharing and available for weekend delivery. Use Love Wimbledon’s exclusive code ‘LOVESW19’ to receive £5 off your next order (minimum spend £35).

Leon LOVe Burger at Home kits are carbon neutral and come with everything you need to make tasty burgers and fries at home. All vegan, with a gluten-free option, and includes their infamous burger sauce and aioli.

During this homeschooling period, Bliss Coffee is delivering Family Dinners for four from Monday to Thursday. Family favourites include BBQ chicken with Mac n Cheese, Poached Prime Salmon and Slow-Cooked Lamb Steaks, with the menu changing weekly.

Beyond Veganuary

More and more restaurants are expanding their menus to cater to dietary restrictions and preferences which means gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian/vegan options now extend beyond Veganuary.

Wagamama’s new vegan menu, ‘the vegan edit’ will excite vegans and non-vegans alike. Drool-worthy favourites include new vegan Sticky ‘Ribs’, Tofu Raisukaree curry and a twist on the classic Tofu Firecracker.

Sticks n Sushi’s ‘always’ on vegetarian and vegan dishes are both flavourful and filling. The Greenkeeper, Green Gate Salad and Garden Rolls will appeal to the most discerning tastes.

If you’re craving comfort food, throughout January Franco Manca is highlighting their vegan pizzas – just £6 when you order online & collect.

Lunch and Lighter Bites

Diary chock-a-block? Delivery doesn’t have to be for dinner! With more people working from home there’s a growing trend towards midday home delivery.

Yori offers a set lunch menu with mains ranging from traditional Hot Stone Bibimbap to Barbecued meat accompanied by rice and three sides.

For those who prefer nibbles and smaller bites Wahaca‘s salads, bowls and Sustainable Fish Tacos are a fresh option. Or opt for tapas from The Adega‘s new menu and savour the likes of Seared Scallops or Gambas Piri Piri.
