Healthy Workplaces in Wimbledon

Others offer staff initiatives such as gym memberships, yoga, pilates and meditation classes, Mental Health First Aiders, Long-Wednesday lunches as well as providing fresh fruit for staff on a weekly basis. BID businesses demonstrating strong engagement in these areas include:

- Capsticks
- Close Brothers

Benefits to You
By working closely with Merton Chamber of Commerce, we are able to provide reduced rate training, workshops and networking opportunities for staff. Love Wimbledon also provides the employee only Privilege card for all your employees offering reduced rates and discounts at around 50 businesses.
LOVE WIMBLEDON PRIVILEGE CARD
Promote your business to over 5,000 Privilege Card holders and encourage your staff to apply for theirs. It’s free and offers them exclusive discounts from businesses all over town.
Sustainability
We also encourage businesses to think about their environmental impact, by increasing their recycling, reducing their use of single-use plastics and defining other green policies that are appropriate to their company, such as employing local staff. We work in partnership with Sustainable Merton and Healthy Dialogues who offer a selection of consultancy services empowering businesses to champion sustainable health and wellbeing. Follow our Events page to see upcoming workshops, training and networking events on these topics.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Linking businesses to charities and local causes also provides a positive initiative that is proven to improve staff retention and by providing introductions and promoting local charities ourselves we can assist the business community to celebrate it’s contribution to the local community. See the list of local charities within the BID area. If you would like more information or to be introduced to one of these charities please contact info@lovewimbledon.org or call 020 8619 2012.
