Love Wimbledon awarded BID accreditation

Love Wimbledon Business Improvement District (BID) celebrated today after being awarded the illustrious BID Accreditation stamp. A rare quality mark that to date has only been granted to 18 BIDs out of over 200 nationally.

‘We want Wimbledon to be up there with the best run BID’s in the country so that our business members, who pump almost £450,000 each year into Wimbledon, as well as our business partners and the local authority can be reassured that we are an extremely well governed and well managed organisation’ said Paul Windsor, Chair of the Love Wimbledon BID.

The accreditation is designed as a robust system to ensure the proper measurement of the impact that a BID may be having on its locality. This mark confirms that Love Wimbledon is well managed, has strong governance arrangements in place and complies with the Legislation and Regulations which govern Business Improvement Districts.

BID Manager Helen Clark Bell said that “Achieving this quality mark is recognition of the high standard of our Business Improvement District, working to achieve a better Wimbledon for everyone”.
