Reed Accountancy Charity Quiz Night in aid of stem4

On 10th April Reed Accountancy Wimbledon held their bi-annual charity quiz night at The Old Frizzle to raise money for stem4.  Seventy employees from local businesses, formed into 11 teams, combined their brain power to answer questions on diverse topics ranging from geography, science & nature to music, films & TV, while enjoying a lovely selection of complimentary drinks and nibbles.

To aid in the fundraising efforts, raffle tickets were sold for a selection of prizes generously donated from local businesses, including;

Reed Accountancy – Royal Albert Hall private box

San Lorenzo – dinner for 2

Suburban bar – drinks tab for £50

Wafflemeister – free sharing box for 4

Nuffield Health – 2 x monthly passes

The winning team from Andrew Scott Robertson (photo below) fought off tight competition from the team at Sportlabs with a one point victory, securing a £100 voucher towards an evening out. The evening was a great success with a total of £580 raised for stem4.

Julia Paton comments, “We are so pleased to be able to support not only a local Wimbledon charity but one that has such a positive impact on improving the lives of young people with mental health issues.  Having recently attended a conference run by stem4 and Nihara Krause I was impressed by the dedication of her and the team and their holistic approach to working with teenagers, families and their schools recognising and managing common mental health issues.”
