Santoro wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Santoro Licensing has been awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2018

This is the UK’s most prestigious and highest accolade for international business success. Speaking from the company’s Head Office in Wimbledon, Co-Founder Meera Santoro stated,

“We feel incredibly proud to have received this Award. Our Licensing division has been responsible for many of the Company’s achievements to date. It is a rare honour and one which we are immensely proud and grateful to accept.”

Santoro is the world-renowned, award-winning London lifestyle fashion brand founded in 1985 by award winning art directors Meera and Lucio Santoro. Santoro Licensing, a division of Santoro, has demonstrated the necessary level of growth and development on an international scale to meet the strict and demanding criteria required to be even considered for these Awards. The Licensing division has seen 20 new licensing partners signed since October 2017 and currently works with 65 global licensing partners. Santoro Licensing has seen a 40% growth since 2016. A major factor in this growth can be attributed to the global phenomenon of Santoro’s Gorjuss™ brand. Launched in 2009, Gorjuss™ is now available at over 35,000 points of sale across 93 countries and has already become a £120m brand.
