Beat the January Blues: Mindful Letter Writing for Beginners
All materials provided. A small group workshop, partly in silence, with the option of discussion.
You don’t need to have written a letter or practiced mindfulness before.
A letter doesn’t have to be sent.
You could write to yourself: past, present, future.
You could write to someone you love or someone you hate.
You could write to someone alive or dead.
You could write to something that can’t read: a tree, place, mythical creature.
Writing letters is a Zen practice partly because it can help us gather our thoughts, think about what we want to express and release that onto a page.
You must be 16 or over to attend.
