Go behind the scenes for an exclusive tour of Wimbledon’s iconic Polka Theatre
As part of Love Wimbledon Sustainable September, go behind the scenes at Wimbledon’s iconic Polka Theatre to hear about their recent building transformation, learn about the history of the theatre, and discover what they have been doing to improve their environmental impact and help children think about green issues. Winners of the Merton Best Business Award 2022 for Sustainability, Polka has been a landmark in Wimbledon since it opened in 1979 as the UK’s first dedicated children’s theatre. The tour is suitable for adults and children over the age of 10. Please note there are several sets of stairs on the tour.
