Kindness Land workshop – SPINE Festival
Join Wimbledon library for this workshop, part of SPINE Festival.
Storyteller Bernadette Russell and poet Alice Frecknall are on a mission to spread the good news about Kindness Land! Can you help them?
Come and find out about this mysterious place and the science of kindness. We’ll have fun making characters, playing games, and writing poems and stories about Kindness Land together. Afterwards, we’ll hide what we’ve created inside books in your library so other people can find and share in our messages of kindness.
For children aged 7-11
Please note there are two sessions available but the workshop will be the same at both sessions.
Session 1: 1.30-3pm
Session 2: 3.30-5pm
SPINE Festival runs from 10 April-10 May across 16 London boroughs, with a host of free activities and events for children and families across 16 London boroughs.
