Merton Live!
Back in 2019, Wimbledon Guild and New Wimbledon Theatre created Merton Live! – and event that showcases the best of the best local talent on one of London’s biggest stages. The event returned triumphantly in 2020 and now it’s back for 2022!
Join New Wimbledon Theatre as they open their doors for one day only to showcase local young talent – from spectacular gymnastic displays to hip hop dancing and choirs putting their spin on the latest hits.
Local dance troop Urban Dance City will take to the stage, fresh from their Britain’s Got Talent 2022 audition.
It promises to be an action-packed day for all the family with live stage shows from midday until 5pm, plus lots of activities going on around the theatre from face painting to arts and crafts, a treasure hunt to historical tales from 111 years of SW19’s legendary theatre.
All money raised supports Wimbledon Guild, a community charity in Merton offering practical help and personal support, so no one in our community has to face life’s challenges alone.
Stay for an hour, the whole afternoon, or come and go as you please – once you’re in you’ll never want to leave!
Tickets £5.50 for an Adult, £4.50 for a Child (under 3’s go free).
