February Half-Term Activities in Wimbledon 2023
This February half-term, keep it local and explore new activities that Wimbledon has to offer. Try a sushi masterclass, learn a new art technique, keep your kids active and fit with junior gym sessions and then grab your popcorn for a free family film screening.

It’s never too early to learn some serious sushi skills! Sushi masterclasses return to Sticks’n’Sushi Wimbledon on 11th February. Classes are suitable for ages 8-12 years of all ability levels with clear and thorough teaching, ensuring all can participate. All children will get squash during the class and leave with a goody bag including a certificate, their bandana, rolling mat, chopsticks, chocolate fish and a Japanese number and phrase sheet.

Unleash their creative minds with classes at Art K Wimbledon. Children will discover and experiment with exciting art techniques and mediums including shading techniques, watercolour, acrylics, paper sculpture, mixed media and clay sculpture. Your child will choose from a variety of fun projects, and go home with a finished piece!

Junior Fitness
Set your child off to a great start this half-term with junior gym sessions at Better Leisure Wimbledon . Children under 16 can enjoy access to the swimming pool, junior gym and junior fitness class. Swim more and worry less with the whole family with the new swimbies programme which will be providing swimming lessons for under 5s almost everyday.

Grab your popcorn and get ready for some family favourties – for FREE! Wimbledon Library will be screening a variety of children films, like the famous tale of star crossed lovers separated by a fence in Gnomeo and Juliet on February 10th. Or get ready to sing along with a city of musically talented animals battling their way to 1st place in SING on February 17th. Finally, decide if the reboot is better than the original with the story of a young girl with keen intellect and psychic power, you guessed right, Matilda 1996 on February 24th will be showing at Wimbledon Library.
