The much-loved Wimbledon charity shop has reopened its popular Bridal Room following a renovation, offering a stunning new space for brides to find affordable, sustainable dresses that support free hospice care. The Royal Trinity Hospice charity shop on Wimbledon’s Broadway opened in 2023, stocking a range of designer and high-end women’s and men’s fashion. The upstairs
Bridal Room has since grown from a well-kept secret to a must-visit destination for sustainably minded brides-to-be. Featuring everything from perfectly preserved vintage pieces to unworn designer showstoppers.
All profits from Royal Trinity Hospice shops help fund the charity’s free care, supporting over 2,500 people every year to live and die well. Royal Trinity Hospice’s bridal collection has seen an explosion in popularity throughout 2026, beginning with an exciting bridal collaboration with Elys as part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, and a feature on Channel 5’s Rich Wedding Poor Wedding in the spring. With a recent Bridebook report finding that the average cost of a wedding in the UK is £20,604, it is no wonder that fashion-savvy brides are looking for options that are better for their budget and the planet. Following several viral social media moments from Royal Trinity Hospice shops, the popularity of the charity’s bridal collection has seen brides from across the country and across the pond making the journey to Wimbledon to find more sustainable and affordable gowns for their big day.
Andy Keen, Director of Retail at Royal Trinity Hospice said:
