Come and join us this September for sustainable fashion shows, repair pop-ups, kilo-sales, kids’ activities, urban farm tours, sustainable community, fashion and beauty talks, and our incredibly popular Sustainable Market on The Piazza.
We are collaborating with Wimbledon Quarter and Go Inspire, with a little help from our friends at Elys and Sustainable Merton to bring you an even bigger and better Sustainable September 2024.

Repair Pop-Up & Upcycling Demos
Wimbledon Quarter Ground Floor, Saturday only, 12-4pm
Local repair specialists Little ARK will be popping up in Wimbledon Quarter, so bring along those ripped jeans and any other items in need of stitching and they’ll get to work! We’ll also have demonstrations and sustainable fashion styling tips from master upcycler and eco influencer Dani Dawkins.

We have a fantastic line-up of key local figures and sustainability pioneers delivering a series of talks on greener community, beauty and fashion. Come and hear insights from Paul Kohler, MP for Wimbledon, Steve Anyiwo, founder of organic skincare brand Datsit, Lucy Kane, Time & Leisure as well as Elys, Lush, Re-Runn and Sustainable Merton. These talks are all free but booking is required.
How Green is Our Community? Sunday, 12-12:45pm
Our panel will be debating how being greener can positively benefit the local community.
Just announced: Paul Kohler, recently appointed Liberal Democrat MP for Wimbledon, will be sharing his views of sustainability in our community and how he intends to wave the sustainability flag on decisions. Diana Sterck, Diana Sterck, CEO of Sustainable Merton will be providing a lively insight into both small and large green interventions which can benefit local communities. And joining them will be Sally Warren, Adviser at Love Wimbledon Business Improvement District, who with the Love Wimbledon team is working to create a greener and more sustainable town centre.
What is Sustainable Fashion? Sunday, 1-1:45pm
Our fabulous panel of industry experts features Lucy Kane (Time & Leisure), Sakina O’Neill (RE-RUNN), Helen Canning (Elys) and Nicola Jibson (Royal Trinity Hospice) discussing sustainable fashion. Come and hear their insights and find out how you can make greener fashion decisions or reduce the amount of clothing that ends up in landfill. This hot topic is relevant for everyone.
Being Green With Beauty Sunday, 2-2.45pm
Steve Anyiwo, Founder of organic skincare brand Datsit, and Meghan Hindle, Manager of Lush Wimbledon explain why natural, greener products are beneficial for you…plus, there will of course be bath bomb demonstrations!

Urban Farm Tours

Another fantastic opportunity to visit the Wimbledon Quarter rooftop on the VERY popular Urban Farm Tours with Will the Farmer. Come and see how mushrooms are growing and honeybees are buzzing right here in the heart of Wimbledon Town Centre. FREE event, but booking is required!
Abundance Wimbledon

A delicious selection of homemade jams, chutneys, cakes and pies for sale, all made using local produce. There will also be a plant stall with local honey for sale, and plenty of activities for all ages including apple pressing, apple pie-making for children, competitions, prize draws and live music.

Watch live sustainable fashion shows all day, showcasing the possibilities of greener fashion. There will also be open talks with all the designers featured and various workshops throughout the day, with places available on a first come, first served basis.
Sustainable Market on The Piazza
The Piazza, 11am-6pm
Our incredibly popular Sustainable Market presents a range of eco-conscious traders including Datsit Skincare with natural and organic beauty products, Golden Grass Company offering plant based jewellery and accessories, and Sleepy Soul with carefully crafted organic baby and children’s clothing. We’ll also have free arts activities for kids using eco-friendly products including recycled paper and natural paints made from vegetable pigments.
