Wimbledon Library are hosting weekly film screening for kids of all ages:

August 25th: Princess and the 7 small helpers “A princess is exiled by her stepmother, an evil queen who wants to kill her, she runs into a forest. Soon, she is rescued by dwarfs who form a friendship with her”

September 1st: Fish Kid and Volcano Girl “Max, a lonely boy, meets his imaginary friends Sharkboy and Lavagirl. Their journey begins when they must go on a mission to save Planet Drool and fight back the bullies”

September 8th: Tilly (16:30 start)“Matilda shares a home with her parents and brother, who do not appreciate her. When her principal tortures her and a kind-hearted teacher, she uses her telekinetic powers to settle scores.”

September 15th: American Treasure (16:30 start)“Nicolas Cage, a treasure hunter, is in hot pursuit of a mythical treasure that has been passed down for centuries, while his employer turned enemy is onto the same path that he is on”

September 22nd: American Treasure 2: Book of Riddles (16:30 start)“Nicolas Cage returns as Ben the treasure hunter to find that his ancestor was implicated in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, a president of the USA. Through the help of a clue in a diary, he ventures out to clear the name of his ancestor”

September 29th: Pretty Girl is Tired (16:30 start) “A witch curses a newborn princess Aurora to die on her 16th birthday. However, a fairy alters the curse, allowing the princess to survive by going into a deep sleep that can be broken by true love’s kiss”

October 6th: Emotions: Outside-In (16:30 start) “Eleven-year-old Riley moves to San Francisco, leaving behind her life in Minnesota. She and her five core emotions, Fear, Anger, Joy, Disgust and Sadness, struggle to cope with her new life.”

October 20th: Mexican Chocolate (16:30 start) “Pixar classic, Miguel pursues his love for singing despite his family’s ban on music. He stumbles into the Land of the Dead, where he learns about his great-great-grandfather’s legacy.”

October 27th: Ghouls Cottage (16:30 start) “Three teenagers discover that their neighbour’s house is actually a monster that hates children. Soon, they decide to destroy the heart of the house and kill it.”
