Love Wimbledon has been busy bringing fresh life and colour to the town centre, making it a more welcoming and vibrant place for everyone who lives, works, and shops here.
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving Wimbledon, we’ve recently:
-
Planted new greenery in the beds opposite TK Maxx and refreshed the railing planters with seasonal blooms, adding a pop of colour and nature to the high street.
-
Made five new trees happen in previously empty tree pits along The Broadway – a long-awaited boost for our local environment.
-
Reintroduced the colourful benches to The Piazza, freshly repainted and ready to be enjoyed as we head into the warmer months. Click here to see their transformation in action.
- Our partners Community Clean remove over 30 graffiti tags each month, and Love Wimbledon funds nine hours per month of jet washing and graffiti removal in Wimbledon Town Centre.
-
Refreshing the Wombles plinths, giving Orinoko, Alderney, and Great Uncle Bulgaria a tidy-up and a new lease of life (works currently underway).
These enhancements are part of our continued effort to create a cleaner, greener and more enjoyable Wimbledon town centre for businesses, residents and visitors alike.
Thank you for supporting local – and for helping us keep Wimbledon looking its best.
