Iglu.com Becomes First Office Occupier in Wimbledon Quarter

Award-winning cruise and ski travel agency Iglu.com has relocated to a newly designed 4,000 sq ft office at Wimbledon Quarter, becoming the first business to occupy its own dedicated space as part of property owner Romulus’s vision to transform the Quarter into a vibrant multi-use destination.

The move follows another strong year for the business, with Iglu recently named Best Online Agent at The Wave Awards for the second consecutive year. The company was also acquired by Australia-based Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) in a deal worth £100 million upfront, with up to £27 million in performance-based earnouts.

The acquisition includes Iglu’s Cruise, Planet Cruise and Iglu Ski brands. CEO David Gooch will continue to lead the business from its Wimbledon and Portsmouth offices as part of Flight Centre’s global leisure division.

Craig Hurring, Love Wimbledon CEO said,

It’s tremendous news that Iglu have committed to stay in Wimbledon Town Centre, and moved to these stunning, dedicated new offices within Wimbledon Quarter. With Huddle providing a flexible workspace solution nearby too, everyone in Wimbledon Quarter will benefit from a steady daily footfall of users. With the recent Affidea Clinic, Rituals and Primark announcements, and further news coming soon, this is shaping up to be an exciting year for Wimbledon Quarter.

David Gooch, Iglu’s CEO, said,

We are thrilled to become part of the Flight Centre Travel Group. This partnership opens up significant future growth opportunities, allowing us to scale our operations while maintaining the unique identity that has made us successful. By leveraging Iglu’s world-leading ecommerce platform alongside Flight Centre’s global experience, we are perfectly positioned to capture new market share. Most importantly, the strong cultural fit between our businesses gives me great confidence that we will continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers, suppliers and people.
