Wimbledon Leads the Way with Free Town Centre Learning Hub for Local Employees
Love Wimbledon has officially launched a pioneering town centre learning platform in partnership with SEEDL, a global leader in virtual live learning. This new initiative provides employees of levy-paying businesses across Wimbledon with free, unlimited access to over 200 live, interactive webinars, making it the first of its kind in the UK.
From Microsoft Excel and Project Management to Retail Management, Customer Service, and Mental Wellness, the platform offers a wide range of courses designed to boost individual skills and support business performance. Many courses are also CPD-certified, further enhancing their value for professional development.
“With so many types of businesses in our town centre, this is a great way for us to address the learning needs of our retail, hospitality and office-based businesses alike, while saving them often substantial learning and development costs in these challenging times.”
– Craig Hurring, Chief Executive at Love Wimbledon.
Delivered entirely through live interactive and on-demand webinars, the platform is built for flexibility. Courses can be accessed from the office, home, or even one of Wimbledon’s many hospitality venues – wherever there’s an internet connection, learning can happen.
The programme is open to all employees working in levy-paying businesses, completely free of charge. This new hub represents a continued commitment by Love Wimbledon to strengthen the local business community through practical, meaningful initiatives that make a real difference.
“SEEDL has grown rapidly since its launch and we’re really excited to do more to support town and city centre economies. Our partnership with Love Wimbledon is going to be game-changing for businesses in Wimbledon. We’re helping levy payers retain and attract employees by giving them a genuine development pathway. With so many businesses asking for mental wellness support, we’re also proud to be offering courses that address this vital area.”
– Joanna Nash, Chief Learning Officer at SEEDL
Love Wimbledon encourages all eligible businesses to take full advantage of this opportunity. Whether you’re developing your team’s digital skills or strengthening service excellence, this flexible platform ensures your staff are always learning, growing, and contributing to the success of Wimbledon town centre.
