Sustainable September 2025

Back for the third year running — supporting greener businesses in Wimbledon

Sustainable September returns this autumn with a renewed focus on how sustainability drives value for businesses, the local community, and the planet. Organised by Love Wimbledon in partnership with Wimbledon Quarter and Go Inspire, the 2025 edition showcases sustainable fashion, circular living, and creative reuse through an exciting line-up of events and activities throughout the town centre.

As a Love Wimbledon BID business, you’re already part of this movement. We’re here to support your sustainability journey through:

Sustainable September is one way we deliver on our BID’s core aim: to make Wimbledon greener and more sustainable. What’s more, these events are proven to drive footfall — last year’s edition saw a 34% increase in visitors to the town centre. By engaging with these initiatives, your business not only supports the environment but also stands to benefit from increased visibility, customer engagement, and long-term cost savings.

Why it matters for your business

Sustainable September is more than just a calendar of events — it’s a chance for Wimbledon’s business community to lead by example. By getting involved, you demonstrate environmental responsibility, attract new customers, and help shape a town centre where people want to shop, work, and spend time.

We encourage all BID businesses to take advantage of the services we offer, from SEEDL training to WEEE collections, and to explore how sustainable practices can reduce overheads and improve your bottom line.
