Brand New for 2026: Tennis Window Competition in Association with the AELTC

This is the year to get creative! Love Wimbledon is partnering with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) for Wimbledon Town Centre’s first ever official Tennis Window Competition.

Not only will our locally judged winner get two tickets for Centre Court on Thursday 9th July, but all entries will go head-to-head with the Wimbledon Village and Southfields tennis window entries for AELTCs overall winner, with Ladies’ Singles Final tickets to be won.

So…Wimbledon Town Centre businesses: let’s up our game and deliver the crème de la crème of window displays!

The AELTC has provided some props (racquets, tennis balls and bunting) which are not mandatory for your display but free to use (details under Key Dates).

Guidelines

Please ensure your entry follows the Tennis Window Competition brand guidelines 2026. The judges will not be able to consider your entry if it does not comply with these guidelines.

Offices are welcome to enter. If your display is not visible from public footpaths, you can email a photo to info@lovewimbledon.org.

Deadline to enter is 9am Monday 22nd June.

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

Creativity / inventiveness
Entertainment value / sense of humour
Sustainable features eg: reuse, recycle, low environmental impact
Reflecting your business eg if you are a pub, does your display relate to drinks, people, etc?

Key Dates:

Entry Deadline: Monday 22nd June, 9am

Judging: Wednesday 24th June – Wednesday 1st July
A handpicked selection of independent local judges will be scoring all entrants based on the criteria listed above

Official Photography: Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June
Professional photography of all entries will take place the weekend before The Championships start

Winners and Runners Up Announced: Monday 6th July, 10am
Tennis Window Competition winners will be announced at Love Wimbledon’s Big Screen on The Piazza – details to follow

When is the deadline to enter the competition?: The deadline to enter is Monday 22nd June at 9am.
Can Love Wimbledon help my business source decorations?: Love Wimbledon can provide a list of artists that work in Wimbledon Town Centre to decorate your windows.

The AELTC has provided free props for businesses to use. Tennis racquets and balls can be collected from the Love Wimbledon office (while supplies last). Please email info@lovewimbledon.org or phone 02086192012 to arrange collection before 22nd June.
Is it ok to modify the tennis balls?: We have had several businesses ask about drawing on or puncturing holes in the tennis balls to hang them. Perfectly fine!

No need to return the balls if these have been damaged or decorated.
Do we need to return the free props?: Yes, please return the free props provided by the AELTC to The Alexandra Pub on Wimbledon Hill Road, Tuesday 14th July at 10am.

Do not return any materials which have been altered or damaged.
