Keeping the town clean

Wimbledon Town Centre is patrolled regularly by our Town Ranger. They check for everything from graffiti and water leaks to overflowing bins and neglected grot spots.

Over 1,200sqm of streets are deep cleaned annually in Wimbledon Town Centre

The role is vital in maintaining clean and safe streets in Wimbledon. We have a baseline agreement with Merton Council to ensure improvements and services are over and above those provided by the council.

Every incidence on the patrol is reported to either the business affected, the council, the waste contractors, or the appropriate utility company. For people found on the street we work with the police, Merton Council and charities to provide the support they need.

If you need to report any of the following, please click on the below. Please make sure you report to the appropriate authority. If things get reported they will be dealt with and logged:

  • Flytipping
  • Graffiti and vandalism
  •  Sticker and flyposters
  • Broken paving slabs, blocked drains and potholes
  • Utility company issues such as water leaks and power outages
  • Commercial waste issues
  • Anti-social behaviour
