The Merton Best Business Awards evening lit up Thursday 5th October in a new venue for 2023, AFC Wimbledon’s state-of-the-art facility on Plough Lane. The evening recognised the contributions that local businesses make to Merton and awarded them for their resilience, creativity and innovation. This year’s awards featured new categories, including the Top Woman in Business and Sports and Fitness Business of the Year, expanding the accolades offered.

Love Wimbledon BID celebrated significant wins last night, as The Golf Groove was honoured with The Best New Business Award, Wimbledon School of English received The Best Independent Business Award, Domestic & General secured The Employer of the Year, Lewis & Co took home The Best In the Property Sector Award and Polka Theatre proudly received The Best in The Creative Sector Award.
Five further runners-up awards went to businesses in Wimbledon town centre too.
